 Miss Lexi (13") is fashioning this darling 3 pc outfit.

This darling dress is designed from a cotton floral print. White piping adds the perfect contrast to the neckline and waist. The lower portion of the dress boasts of entredeux insertion, an heirloom technique. 

The attached white batiste underskirt is edged with dainty white eyelet.

An heirloom sewing technique that dates back to the 17 century,  and often found in traditional Provencal quilts, was used in creating the bodice and adds three-dimensional texture, which the pictures have a difficult time capturing.

Dainty half pearls add the perfect touch to the bodice.
The bodice is lined and fastens in the back with two sewn-on snaps.

   The coordinating headband fastens under dolly's hair with a single sewn-on snap.
